Sioux Falls zone confernce this week
Well
this week was a pretty good week. We didn't teach many lessons, but we
tracted quite a bit trying to find new investigators, which is really
helping me learn how to track and get how to respond to the different
things they say--like I'm catholic and I'm already baptized.
I have asked a
couple of people to be baptized on the doorstep but have not gotten a
yes yet. This guy freaked out at me and my comp this week; it was pretty
funny he said he went to a church, and my comp asked, "Is it the one true
church on the earth today?" and he said, yeah and then my comp said, "So is
there one in Africa so they can go to the true church too?" and the guy
at the door was like noooo, and then shut the door and said bye have a
good day.
We tracted into a college girl this week and she actually took
the time to listen to us. We have two colleges in our area. One is a Baptist college and the other is a Lutheran college so we usually tract
up there and try to find some females to teach but haven't found much
success, but we have them thinking. Like when we ask oh what church do you
go to and what do you like about that church? . It was overall a good
week. Talk to y'all next week!!!!!
WITH MUCH CHARITY,
Elder Nathan Hales
We were sitting in church yesterday, and someone told us the Catholics allow gay marriage now. So the Mormons are the only church that doesn't allow gays to be married. So we might get some new investigators because of that. Just thought I would let y'all know what I learned.
